Generatio ista similis est pueris (Mt 11:16).

This generation is like children.

We would like to be adults, but behave like children. It is so hard to grow up. We prefer rather to be irresponsible and free. Also we like more playing and enjoying than praying and fasting. For that reason, it is so difficult to be well prepared for the coming of our Lord. Furthermore, we are used to many things and pleasures. We do not want to change anything. Although sometimes we would like to change ourselves, we are not able to do that. The Bible shows us two ways of holy men - one of saint John the Baptist and the other of Jesus Christ. These ways are to be connected. Since we need both to live ascetic life and to love one another. In addition, we ought to spend some time on prayer in silence and other time go to help people in need. In the person of the Son of God we can see these two characteristics. He always fulfilled the will of God and as a result he was very close to the needy. He knew very well how to divide time both for his spirit and for people who surrounded him. In such a way, he did not treat his life as a kind of enjoyment, but as hard work for the salvation of men.

Confortate manus dissolutas (Is 35:3).

Strengthen the hands that are feeble.

As human beings we are so weak and unhappy. We do know our limits and that we will not live on the earth forever. Although we are looking forward to joy and peace, we cannot obtain them by ourselves. Therefore, we are to focus on the glory of the Lord who is coming. We need to put our trust in him and be sure that he will strengthen us in our fragility. Accordingly, we will not be afraid any more, but courageous. Since Jesus Christ, the Son of God, wants to be with us and to share his divine graces. With his blessing we will survive everything and recognize the true meaning of our lives. In addition, we will be able to find happiness around us, because we will perceive the reality in the light of the gospel. We will also discover the holy ways among many paths which are proposed to us. On these ways we will meet our Redeemer walking by our side. Following him we will journey and enter the heavenly kingdom which is prepared for us. And knowing that our hearts will be fulfilled with joy and gladness.

Factum est verbum Dei (Lk 3:2).

The word of God came ...

Through the Scriptures God is used to come to us every day. However, sometimes he speaks to our heart directly. When we hear his voice, we are being encouraged to to great things because this word goes always with power and strength. Thus, the Holy Spirit is working within us and in the world. As a result, we are able to change ourselves for better. Obviously, not by our own, but with the divine grace. Accordingly, our love increases more and more. We also become pure and blameless in order to give a good testimony to others. We can tell them about great things which have been made for us by God. For instance that he has changed our mourning and misery into joy and happiness or has cleansed us from sins and errors. Further, that he has wrapped us in the cloak of holiness and in the belt of peace. For these reasons, we are able to live a good life and enjoy in his presence all the time. Since we do not only know that he is with us, but we do experience it every day.

Dominus tecum (Lk 1:27).

The Lord is with you.

God is always with us in various ways. Sometimes he even sends his special messengers to announce things which are very important. However, there is a problem with our attention. For we are usually absent-minded and distracted. We have so much to do that we are not able to concentrate. Therefore, the God's angel often must wake us up and get us out of our business. Since we are troubled by circumstances and astonished because of the situations we are in. Nonetheless, God always reminds us not to be afraid. And his grace is with us from the beginning of our life to its end. In addition, he has prepared the wonderful furture for each of us. Through his angels he helps us accept our destiny which is to love God from the whole heart and fulfill a special vocation. Although we do not know it precisely, we are to do God's will all the days of our life. Certainly, the Holy Spirit will come upon us to bid us accomplish everything what is necessary. Since nothing is impossible for the person who believes.

Adhuc in modico et in brevi (Is 29:17).

But a very little while ...

The kingdom of God is very close at hand. We just need to open ourselves to receive it in our hearts. We are to open our ears to listen carefully. However, we often are like the deaf people who do not hear the beautiful sounds around them. As a result, we are sad and stressed not finding happiness. It means that we are lacking the divine graces trying to live by our own. However, this kind of life contrains us so that we cannot live in fulness. On the other hand, with God we have nothing to be ashamed of. We become strong and ready to live a holy life. Since we know that our God is among us supporting and encouraging. Thus we keep his name in mind and reverence our Father and Creator. And abiding in his spiritual presence we acquire understanding of everything what is happening in the world. The reason is that he enlightens us and discloses the deep meaning of events. Then, we are not afraid anymore dwelling with him all the days of our life.

Sperate in Dominum (Is 26:4).

Trust in the Lord!

Our stronghold is the Lord and we do trust in him wholeheartedly. He keeps us in his peace and leads us through the paths of our life. He is our eternal rock too. Accordingly, we neither can be moved nor shaken. Moreover if we are humble, he lifts us up and makes us overcome everything. Therefore, we are very thankful to the Lord for his goodness and tenderness. Furthermore, we are certain that we can take refuge in him. He teaches us how to be just in order to enter his kingdom and we find the entrance in our Lord, Jesus Christ. Thanks to him, we are encouraged to live with hope, we become blessed living on the earth and  we experience the presence of God. Gifted by him we are able to recognize the divine will and to fulfill it. Eventually, we gain his wisdom and take part in his Spirit. We also do the right things and gather the abundant fruit.

Praecipitabit faciem vinculi (Is 25:7).

He will destroy the veil.

God does not want any barrier between him and his people. On the contrary, he likes to be our Father and closest Friend. He knows very well what we long for and is ready to wipe our tears away. It is enough to hear his words carefully in order to get to know about his love and kindness. Since as he has promised, he saves us and makes us happy. He is our Shepherd who leads us beside restful waters and in verdant pastures. These waters are the divine graces given to us in the Church. Moreover, through the Scriptures he guides us in the right paths not to walk in the dark valley of sins. He also encourages us to be strong and overcome all the difficulties and troubles. He anoints our heads with the holy sacraments and supports us with the spiritual food during every Eucharist. As a result, only goodness and kindness follow us all the days of our life. Strengthened with this divine food we will attain the heavenly house of the Lord eventually.

Mons domus Domini in vertice montium (Is 2:1).

The mountain of the Lord's house.

God is to take the main place in our life. If we focus on him, everything else will be in good order. So it shoud be our desire to have our Lord in the center. Obviously, it will happen at the end of time, however nowadays it is also necessary. Since we are confused living without his commandments and rules. Therefore, we are to try eagerly to climb the Lord's mountain which means to look for him. In such a way, we will be instructed in his ways and able to walk in his path. In addition, his plan is always the best as well as his instruction. Thanks to him people may live in peace and forgive one another. He encourages us to be humble and to respect each other. For these reasons, it is worthy to walk in the light of the Lord and build one community of human family. We will be grateful and joyful, we will  also prosper and keep peace in the world.

Suscitabo verbum bonum (Jer 33:14).

I will fulfill the promise.

Nothing is more certain than knowledge of God being faithful and trustworthy. For if he says something, it is always true. If he promises that he is coming, we are to be ready because it will happen in a short time. He does want to guard us and lead through the history of our life. He is eager to teach us how to live a good life and give example to others. Therefore, we should often lift up our souls to the Lord. Also we ought to be watchful and opened for his message. We are to acknowledge him as our saviour and redeemer. Consequently, we will experience how sweet and upright is the Lord. And he will show us his kindness and constancy. Since he never leaves his friends and desires to abide with them all the time. If we stand in his presence, he makes us increase and abound in love. Further, he strengthens our heart and cleanses it to be holy and blameless. So let us conduct ourselves to please him and God will fulfill his promises for sure.

Fluvius aquae vitae (Rv 22:1).

The river of life-giving water.

God fills you with everything which is the best. When you are thirsty, he gives you refreshing water; when you are hungry, he provides you with tasty food. Since every day you are able to attend the holy eucharist and to be enriched with spiritual gifts. In such a way, you can grow up and become much wiser. On the other hand, the people who live by their own have to work hard to gain happiness and peace. However, they will never get that in full measure because the true treasures are only in God himself. In addition, you are created to rest in him and your heart can find no peace but in him. Accordingly, it is enough to sit down and just look upon his face being hidden in the holy sacraments. During such a contemplation you receive the divine light and are able to share its rays with others. Sometimes you also hear him speak words which are trustworthy and true. Finally, you do realize that God your Father teaches you and sends his Spirit to guide you in your life.

In corde tuo credideris (Rom 10:9).

Believe in your heart.

It is good to be the witness of Christ. But first, you are to believe in your heart in the Gospel. Later, you are able to give a testimony to others. Since strong faith gives you power to preach the Good News. You must also remember that the stake is very high - the salvation of human souls. The Gospel teaches you that all people are equal and have the same dignity. Consequently, we are to treat one another with great love. For we all have the same Father and Creator who enriches us with the graces of the Holy Spirit and helps us to live a good life. As a result, we can be saved. However, the problem is that some people neither believe nor know our Lord, Jesus Christ. In addition, there are places where the Gospel is not being preached. Therefore, it is still our vocation to bring the good news  to the nations. Our voice is to go forth to all the earth and our words to the ends of the world.

Generatio quaerentium faciem Dei (Ps 24:5).

The race that seeks the face of the God.

The vocation of human beings is to seek their Creator. He is not far away but close at hand in the world. It means that he is among us all the time. However, we usually have lots of work and do not recognize him. Nonetheless, we are able to ascend the mountain of the Lord. We just need to cleanse our mind and with sinless heart start loking for him. He is always ready to bless our life and to show us his majesty and splendor. In his presence we do experience divine peace and terrific happiness. Therefore so important is longing to see his face. Many saints had such an experience and saw the eternal Kingdom of God. They looked at thousands of people and angels praising him in the heaven. In addition, they heard beautiful songs and tunes of harps. Let us follow their longings so that we could join the choirs of holy ones too.

Benedictus Dominus, adiutor meus (P144:1).

Blessed be the Lord, my rock.

All my power comes from my God. By my own I am so weak and fragile. I am able to work and study, because he gives me his Spirit to strengthen me. So in him I trust and have a stronghold in the days of distress. Even if I commit a sin, I can always come back to him and find his help. Therefore I am so grateful and joyful and my heart is filled with praise. For he grants me his favour and grace to enrich me and to make me start again. As a result, I become optimistic about my future and am ready to accomplish my endeavours. Although there are lots of bad news around me, I do not give up but have strong faith and hope. Moreover, I keep my mind on the heavenly things and meditate about the everlasting life. In such a way, I am a child of God under the guard of his holy angels. Also I do experience his divine presence in my life and stand firm upon his rock.

Accipe et devora illum (Rv 10:9).

Take and swallow it.

The orders given to us by God we must do. It is for our happiness and peace. Although they sometimes may seem unreasonable, we are to follow God's instructions. Though we do not understand them, we should trust our Lord completely. It is always good for our inner life and our progress in faith. Furthermore, if we take his words seriously, we will become joyful and free. Since God's wisdom is much more certain than any other news from the world. The reason is that God speaks to our heart and mind directly. Also he knows us through and nothing could be hidden from his sight. When he enters our soul, the inward mess must be cleaned. For there is no place for good and evil in our heart at the same time. The Spirit of God wants to dwell in us to make us a holy temple. Therefore we need to be prepared to accept this grace with love and willingness. Otherwise, the God's blessing will pass us by and we will not take the opportunity of his coming.

Leo de tribu Iudae (Rv 5:5).

The lion of the tribe of Judah.

The wisdom is upon God. And it is very important to know where we are able to find it. Also we have received the Scriptures to search for wisdom there. However, the Holy Bible keeps its secrets and only holy men can understand them. Since people do need the grace of the Holy Spirit to discover its deeper meanings. Sometimes the words of God are too harsh for us and we need more time to comprehend them. But if we let them change our whole life, the divine message will enkindle and enlighten us. Accordingly, we are to ask the Holy Spirit to help us accept the God's wisdom. In such a way, we will be well-prepared to read the Bible with full understanding. Moreover, we will delight in its hidden misteries and rejoice in every word which is shared with us. Finally, we will join with our Lord and King in the contemplation and beatifying vision. Amen.

Sanctus, sanctus, sanctus Dominus (Rv 4:8).

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord.

We do not know what we will see in heaven. It's a mistery of faith. However, some holy people had special visions of God's dwelling. They even heard voices coming down to them. Afterwards they shared their experiences with other believers. Important is that they were passive during revelations and received the divine experience as a gift. They did perceive the flashes of lightning and flames which were the sings of God's presence. But as human beings they were not able to look on God himself. The reason was that God's majesty is too splendid and gorgeous to be comprehended by anyone. So every creature has to cover one's eyes and humbly praise the Creator saying: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord.

Qui vicerit, sic vestietur vestimentis albis (Rv 3:5).

The victor will be dressed in white.

The most important goal of our life is holiness. Accordingly, the word of God wants us to be dressed in white. It means without any sin, guilt or stain. Moreover, it encourages us to hear and watch all the time. Since we are used to forget whose children we are and where we come from. Therefore we are to remind ourselves who our Creator is and who takes care of us. Every day Jesus Christ is coming and asking us to open our hearts. But we usually are not ready yet. We are preparing ourselves but not ready. It is a great pity. However Jesus desires to sanctify us and to change our souls to be his dwelling place. His Spirit is hovering around us but our windows are still closed. For that reason, the Scriptures bid us hear and see what is going on. Also the whole creation is crying out and giving witness that God is present among us. Nevertheless, we are lukewarm to accept this testimony. We ought to buy white garments of faith and love to put on so that our shameful nakedness of indifference may not be exposed.

Qui testificatus est verbum Dei (Rv 1:2).

Witness to the word of God.

Jesus comes into the world and chooses his disciples to preach the Good News. His apostles are to be witnesses to the words of God among nations. First of all, they have to experience themselves how great God's love is. Later they are to write it down and to share their testimony with others. And blessed are those who accept their prophetic message. Thus the Gospel is spreading throughout the world. Accordingly grace and peace accompany the evangelization. The reason is that the Holy Spirit works in all people who open their hearts and supports them to meet the Lord in the holy sacraments. As a result, they become able to suffer for Christ's sake and overcome all kinds of difficulties. Furthermore, they do keep their love towards God and never loose it. In such a way they are good witnesses to the truth of the Gospel.

Dicto oboedire (Ti 3:1).

To be obedient.

Simple things are often the most difficult ones. For instance, we know that we are to be obedient, but it is not easy to achieve it. We usually prefer to be the lords of our own life and we do not want anybody to govern us. At the same time, we realize that we are not able to take control over everything. In addition, we need to be peaceable, considerate and tender for everyone. Since only in this way we can live a good Christian life on the world. Otherwise, we would be considered as foolish, disobedient or living in malice and envy. But it must not be our style of life. For we are called to be kind and generous to one another. Furthermore, we are to follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ who was merciful towards others. As his disciples we are being strengthened by the Holy Spirit and justified by his grace. As a result, we are supposed to dwell in the kingdom of heaven for years to come.

Secundum communem fidem (Ti 1:4).

In our common faith.

As Christians we have our common faith in Jesus Christ. We do believe that he chooses us to be his disciples. As a result, we are to give testimony to others. Since we are sure of the hope of eternal life. And we are to witness that God is worthy to be trusted. It is an honourable task to preach the Gospel among the nations. In addition, Christ often wants us to become his apostles and to be blameless. It is the best way to give an example for people who do not believe at all. Therefore, we are to be God's stewards, not arrogant, not irritable, not aggressive, not greedy. On the contrary, hospitable, temperate, just, holy and self-controlled. And these characteristics are to be followed in our daily life. In such a way, we will be worthy to be called Christians. And people will be astonished seeing us follow Christ. Subsequently, they will join us in ascending the spiritual mountain in order to stand in the holy place of the heavenly kingdom. However, it is only possible with sinless hands and clean heart.

In similitudinem hominum (Phil 2:6).

The form of a slave.

It is interesting that God in all his splendor wanted to be seen as a poor human being. This attitude means that he is very humble and is not going to impose his will on people. On the other hand, humans like to make themselves powerful. They are happy as they are independent and rule others. God is very different in his style and character. He'd rather to be slave and the least among his creatures. The Lord of life even accepted death to show us his humbleness. And it was not an usual one but on the cross which is the symbol of shame and disgrace. However, it is his way and we are not able to understand that. Nevertheless, his name is above every name and everything of those is heaven and on earth and under the earth bows down before him. Since in his humbleness he is powerful. For that reason people do praise him and fulfill their vows. In such a way, he rules the nations and human hearts. Never by force, but always by love and his kindness.

Consolatio in Christo (Phil 2:1).

Encouragement in Christ.

We often feel weak and need strength from above. As human beings we are fragile and can be easily hurt. For that reason, we do look for encouragement from the Son of God. In him we find solace as we take part in his Spirit. In addition, through his grace we do rejoice and have power to fulfill our daily tasks. He gives us the example of living with love on the world. He is never selfish and does not do anything out of vainglory. On the contrary, he is so humble that his lifestyle teaches us to regard others as more important than ourselves. Accordingly, we are to forget about our own interests in order to find peace and joy in our life. Further, we need not busy ourselves with great things nor too sublime for us. Rather, we ought to be stilled and quieted as weaned children on their mothers' lap because God is guarding us all the time. Overall, we do place our trust in him as he promises us the resurrection and happiness in his kingdom of heaven.

Diliges Deum ex toto corde tuo (Dt 6:5).

You shall love the Lord with all your heart.

People who had a good relationship with God knew that the only happiness was loving him with all their heart, and with all their soul, and with all their strength. Nothing was more important to them. It made them prosper and grow in wisdom and peace. This knowledge led them through their whole life. And their only endeavour was to listen to God very carefully and later to fulfill his precepts. They managed to do so because they knew and heard God's words. Moreover, they received his Spirit and placed all their trust in him who was their rock. Subsequently, God was always their stronghold and salvation. He was present in their lives all the time. He showed them his kindness and gave great victories. In short, they were participants in the kingdom of God.

Mihi enim vivere Christus est (Phil 1:21).

For me life is Christ.

The Son of God, Jesus Christ, is present in the world through all the creation. He is a Word of God which has creative power and keeps in being all the creatures. Knowing it we are to rejoice in him all the time. Since his Spirit is acting and supporting us in our troubles. We sometimes lose our hope and cannot find a light in our life. In this case we are supposed to remind ourselves that we are not alone. For he is our life, truth and way. We are only to follow him and everything will be all right. Encouraged by him we do experience his presence in our hearts. And in such a way we are able to magnify him in our body whether by life or by death. For if we are in him, we are alive and nothing can separate us from him. He is our inmost being where we take our strength from. He is like a source of our life. This we know with confidence which makes us progress in holiness. As a result, we become more humble as we acknowledge that without him we are nothing.

In manu Dei (Wis 3:1).

In the hand of God.

Sometimes we feel lonely. It happens because of many reasons. In this condition we usually forget that we are in the hand of our God and no torment can touch us. Neither danger, nor power, nor even a death is able to break this connection between us and our Creator. Keeping it in mind we are to stay in peace. Having been chastised a little, we will be greatly blessed. Furthermore, we are always blessed if we abide in the presence of God. Since his light and love shine through the darkness of our sinfulness and make our life happy and peaceful. They who trust in him understand all the truth and know how to become holy. The divine grace and mercy are the only way which leads us to restful water in order to refresh our souls. Consequently, we are not afraid of evil as his presence gives us courage. Moreover, We are welcome to the Kingdom of Heaven where the marvellous feast is prepared for us. There only goodness and kindness abide forever and ever. And there is a place at the right hand of our Father.

Quoadusque signemus in frontibus (Rv 7:3).

Until we put the seal on the foreheads.

All of us have a seal from our Creator. It means a sign of being his children and of our divine origins. Since each of us is a combination of soul and body. We are something more than just animals - we are humans. Many people do believe in that truth, but there are some who do not care. Nonetheless, there is a great community of people from various nations and races who are part of a big human family. They do accept the words of the Scripture and Jesus Christ is their Lord. Some of them still live on the earth and some are already in the heaven. All of them hope to stand with holy angels and saints aroound the throne of God in the Kingdom of Heaven. They worship God and bless him giving thanks for everything. And God their Father always takes care of them. They strive to have clean hearts to be able to attend the holy feast. And for Christians living in the world, the Holy Eucharist is a foretaste of it and a vestibule of the Heaven.

Per angustam portam (Lk 13:24).

Through the narrow gate...

Jesus is demanding. He wants us to improve and as a result to be saved. However, it cannot be done without any effort. Therefore, he encourages us to be strong and to try our best to enter the Kingdom of God. Consequently, we are to use every moment of our lives to become better and better. We are to ask and to search for God all the time. For without him we are not able to accomplish anything. Furthermore, he knows us very well and all our deeds. So, if we want to join the company of angels and saints, we need to regret our sins. And in this case we will see them in the heavenly Kingdom. Otherwise, we will suffer while departing from God. In the Heaven there will be time of joy and peace. There we will give thanks to the Lord and bless him. There we will contemplate the glorious splendor of God himself. Since God is faithful in all his words and in what he had promised too. But now there is opportune time to strive to enter his Kingdom.

Ut filii lucis ambulate (Eph 5:8).

Live as children of light.

Kindness and tenderness are characteristics of our God. As his children we are to be like God's beloved Son, Jesus Christ. He was compassionate and forgiving despite human weaknesses. He loved us so much that he was eager to remember only good things about us. Inspired by love he gave his life for us. In such a way, he became a fragrant aroma which arises up to the heavens. His desire was to make us holy and blameless. He wanted us to live as children of the divine light. As a result, we were supposed to become heirs of the Kingdom of God. And nothing is more important and essential in our life. For we are to behave as God's very dear children. Accordingly, we will delight in the aboundance of God's graces. Also we will produce good fruit and always prosper.

Quia factus sum pater (Jer 31:9).

For I am a father.

God is like the father who does great things for us. We are glad because we are children of such a Beloved One. If we follow his precepts, we are filled with joy. Since he leads us on the roads of our life. Also he restores our fortunes and defends us against the attacks of our enemies. Even if we are in danger, he is with us all the time. Moreover, he changes our troubles into good things. For these reasons, we are to offer gifts and sacrifices. We are to regret because of our sins and mistakes. And when our God sees that we are humble, he strengthens us to become similar to his only Son. In such a way, we can be priests to serve our Creator. But first, he has to heal our blindness and make us courageous. Consequently, we throw aside our bad habits and follow Christ wholeheartedly. At once we receive our sight and perceive the beautiful things in our lives. For we are fully aware of being the heirs of the divine graces.

Mensura donationis Christi (Eph 4:7).

Measure of Christ's gift.

Christ came to the world to give us everything and to explain us where it comes from. He visited us because of his great love and caring for each of us. We often forget about it and try to live by our own. However, all our gifts and talents have their source in him. First of all, we live because he wanted us to exist on the world. Secondly, we are able to study and work because he gave us this possibility. Next, he did equip us for the task we are going to fulfill. And our aim is to build up the Body of Christ on the earth so that we could achieve the reward of eternal life. Since our starting point is God and also our end is located in him. We are supposed to live the truth in love and grow in every way to be holy. It should be our program of life which will make us rejoice. Overall, we are to be thankful for all God's graces given to us.

Vinctus in Domino (Eph 4:1).

A prisoner for the Lord.

To be a prisoner for the Lord first of all means to be humble. Not only in relations with people, but particularly with our God. Secondly, you are to be kind. Since kindness opens hearts of others and makes your heart tender too. As a result, you become patient and ready to help the needy. Furthermore, you love your sisters and brothers with sincere love. All of these is done in peace which is a sign of God's blessing. Also it shows that your faith is strong enough and you fulfill your vocation to be holy as your God. Subsequently, your hands are sinless and your heart is clean. In such a way, you are able to seek and find the face of the God. And for sure, he will reveal to you the mysteries of the Kingdom.

Flecto genua mea ad Patrem (Eph 3:14).

I kneel before the Father.

To pay homage to God is a great thing. It means that he is very important to us and we are grateful indeed. During our prayers we are being strengthened and take part in the riches of his glory. We do receive his Spirit and are glad because Christ dwells in our heart through faith. Furthermore, we begin to love others as our brothers and sisters. Also we are able to understand more about the creation and our Creator. Step by step we learn how good is the love of Christ that surpasses all our knowledge. Finally, we get to know that the God's will is the best plan for each of us. And fulfilling it is the easiest way to the Kingdom of God. As a result, we can enjoy everything which happens in our lives and praise God for it. Since we are certain that our history is full of kindness of our Lord who does not want to hurt us but save. And the design of his heart is based on divine love. For that reason, we just need to open our hearts for his grace in order to become holy.

Minister secundum donum gratiae Dei (Eph 3:7).

Minister by the gift of God's grace.

Everything we receive from our God is his gift. For that reason, we are to be thankful and to share it with one another. Especially spiritual gifts should be given to people who need them. And if we exchange them, we get much more in return. We are granted other new gifts of God's grace which are inscrutable and immeasurable. In such a way we become holier and holier. Moreover, we gain wisdom of God and his might to progress. It usually happens in the Church when we take part in the holy sacraments. There the gateway to the heavenly kingdom is open. There we draw water joyfully from the springs of salvation. There we become strong in the Lord and confident and unafraid. Overall, we ought to give thanks to our God and to witness among our brothers and sisters. Further, we are to let the Good News be known throughout all the earth. In this way, we can fulfill our vocation to be good missionaries and God's ministers. And it is required of us willing to follow Jesus Christ, our Lord and Master.

Deus dives in misericordia (Eph 2:4).

God who is rich in mercy.

All of us commit sins. As human beings we are very weak and often offend our God. Nonetheless, our Father in Heaven is very merciful  and ready to forgive us. He is not like us who take offence and do remember the errors of our neighbours. We do so and at the same time follow the wishes of the flesh and its impulses. In such a way, we are hypocrites and by nature children of wrath. However, our God is rich in mercy and loves us very much. For that reason, Jesus Christ came to the world and brought us to life again. He does the same in the holy sacraments of the Church and by grace we are being saved. Moreover, he raises us up from our low desires and wants us to be seated with him in Heaven. The reason is that we are created in Christ Jesus for the good works and belong to him. Further, we are to sing joyfully to the Lord and serve him with gladness. Since it is our vocation to be holy and blameless in God's sight. Finally, we are to abide with him in the Kingdom of Heaven forever and ever. Amen.

Voluntas Domini prosperabitur (Is 53:10).

The will of the Lord shall be accomplished.

Sometimes our will is not the same as our Lord's will. The reason is that we are not familiar with suffering and changing our plans. But God, our Father, knows that difficult situations are important for our progress too. Since in affliction we are able to see the light in fulness. Subsequently, we can come closer to the Son of God who died for us. Through his suffering he has justified many and born their guilt. We are supposed to follow his example and to place our trust in God Almighty. For his words are upright and trustworthy. He will fulfill what he has promised and will change our bad experiences into something good for us. His eyes are still upon our life and especially when we are troubled and distressed. He has power to deliver us even from death and to preserve us in spite of danger. Therefore, our soul is to wait for the Lord who is its help and shield. Furthermore, we are repeatedly asked to approach the throne of grace in the holy sacraments of the Church. Since there we have a great high priest, Jesus Christ, who has passed through the heavens to join us and to become one of us.

In lumine audientur (Lk 12:3).

Will be heard in the light.

We ought to be sincere. It means that there should be a connection between our words and truth. However, we usuallly speak a lot but do not care about the truth. Subsequently, there is no good relationship between people. For the truth must be a fundament on which everything is being built. Not only the relation with God, but also with one another. On the other hand, lies destroy the best organizations and attack their roots. Therefore, we are to be afraid of speaking even white lies. Since our God, the Father of Truth, takes care of us and blesses us if we do live a honest life. He is not able to support liers nor people who are deceitful. His kindness is upon the ones who fight for the truth in their lives. He chooses them and talks to them about his love and justice. They are chosen for his own inheritance to give thanks and chant his praises. Furthermore, they who believed in him are sealed with the promised Holy Spirit and achieve salvation through the Gospel.

Operarii autem pauci (Lk 10:2).

The laborers are few.

Nowadays Jesus also chooses his disciples to preach the Gospel. He calls them by name and sends around the world. For he knows very well that there are still peoples who do not recognize him as their Lord. There are still places on the world where circumstances are dangerous and difficult. Moreover, the needy live there and are waiting for the Good News. In these regions men and women are lacking freedom and divine graces. Therefore, first the apostles are to carry peace to human hearts. Especially, to the nations which are in the state of war and disturbance. They do desire rest from evil battles and bloodshed. To this people we are to proclaim that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand for them and God indeed wants them to be happy and to live in peace. For it is a vocation of both man and communities. In addition, all of us long to admire God's might and his glorious splendor. And we really are in need for holiness in our works and to understand that the Lord is near to us who call upon him in truth.

Spiritu ducimini (Gal 5:18).

Guided by the Spirit.

We are to be led by the Holy Spirit. However, we often forget about it. Subsequently, we can be easily misled by evil spirit. Later, sins occur in our lives and we harm one another and even our God. For every sin destroys the relations between relatives. Moreover, it builds our selfishness and we more and more abandon our heavenly Father. As a result, we are further and further from the Kingdom of God. On the other hand, if we live by grace, the beautiful fruit appears through us. There is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity and faithfulness in our life. In addition, everything seems to be under control and according go God's will. Although, we sometimes suffer, also in our bad experiences we are able to discover blessing. Therefore, it is worthy either to live in the Spirit or to follow the Spirit. In such a way, we have the light of life from our Lord which leads us directly to heaven.

Libertate nos Christus liberavit (Gal 5:1).

For freedom Christ set us free.

As a gift from the Heavens all of us have received freedom. A sign of it is our free will. But with this special present we also have some tasks to perform. One of them is to be thankful and to praise our Lord all the time. As a result, we are to remember our God from the rising to the setting of the sun. Moreover, we should go and proclam great things of our Creator to all the nations. For there is only one God, our Father, who takes care of us. He raises the lowly from the dust and lifts the poor from the humbleness. In such a way, he always makes us free and blessed. Subsequently, when we experience his gentleness, we are not to harden our hearts. On the contrary, we need to seek him more and more diligently and to hear his wisdom. Since there is nothing greater than our God, the Creator of heaven and earth. And just with his support, we are able to be truly free and enjoy our life fully. His words and graces lead us every day to achieve the freedom of heart and inner peace.

Nemo bonus, nisi unus Deus (Mk 10:18).

No one is good but God alone.

It is good to come close to Jesus Christ. However, when we approach him, we must be prepared for hard words. For he knows us very well and always speaks to our heart directly. Sometimes it hurts, because we often do not want to open ourselves for truth. But in front of Jesus we cannot hide anything as he is able to see us through. Although he is very gentle with us, he uses every occasion to make us better. And when he looks at us with love, his eyesight has power to soften our heart and to make it similar to his divine heart. Furthermore, he says only what is the most necessary for each of us and shows the best way to his heavenly kingdom. Afterwards, we usually have to change our way of life and follow him completely. But always it depends on us if we take his message seriously. We are also able to forget his words and live our life as before. In this case we will become sad and unhappy. On the other hand, if we do follow his steps, everything will be prossible for us. We will receive hundreds times more now in this present age and eternal life in the age to come.

Vos unus estis in Christo Iesu (Gal 3:28).

You are all one in Christ Jesus.

Because our God is also our Father we are all strictly united as brothers and sisters. We are supposed to sing to him and to proclaim his wondrous deeds. For it would be ungrateful not to perceive all his miracles in the universe. In addition, we are to seek him constantly among us. He was, is and will be with us all the time guarding and supporting us. Without his grace we are not able to live even a moment. Since as children of God we start existing from him through our parents. And our whole life is to give him thanks for everything he has done for each of us. However, many people still have problems with hearing his voice and seeing his signs. They can discover beauty in the nature very easily, but they are not able to find its Source. For that reason, we are invited to read the Bible carefully. There are many hints to help us looking for the Creator. And everyone who does read the Scriptures has an opportunity to start talking with his Father from Heaven.

Digito Dei eicio daemonia (Lk 11:20).

By the finger of God.

Jesus is with us all the time. He is our strength in the fight against the devil. With him we are able to manage everything in our life but we must be inwardly undivided. If we are for Jesus Christ, we cannot agree for any sin. We are to have only one Master who is our Lord and Winner over the death. In his humbleness he has shown us how to prevail against the evil. Where Son of God is, there is the heavenly Kingdom. And his grace helps us to cleanse us from our weaknesses and to make us strong enough in the battle for good. However, we must be well prepared and cautious not to be defeated. Since even a small agreement for the lightest sin might lead us to captivity. The reason is that the unclean spirits roam through the world to find weak people to capture them. Therefore, we are supposed to give thanks to the Lord with all our hearts in the company and assembly of the just. In such a way, we will be secure from the tricks of the devil. Moreover, we will enjoy in his wondrous deeds and adore the majesty and glory of our beloved Father. Since he is mindful of his covenant to give us the inheritance of his Kingdom.

Ne forte in vacuum currerem (Gal 2:2).

So that I might not be running in vain.

Each of us needs either a spiritual director or an adviser. For we are just human beings and can be mistaken. For that reason, the community of the Church provides people who are in charge of others. Consequently, there are various vocations to help one another in our journey to the Kingdom of God. And it is important to cooperate and to share our gifts with our brothers and sisters. Obviously, there are also some common tasks we all are to undertake. And it is worth to notice that we need to take care of each other. So if someone is wrong, we are to admonish him not to commit sin. Furthermore, sincerity is a foundation of our relationships in our communities. We cannot be afraid to speak the truth because it is the way which Jesus Christ chose to save the world. On the other hand, hypocrisy is the easiest way to destroy every good idea and organization. In short, we are to be on the right road in line with the truth of the Gospel. And we are not allowed to do anything which is opposite to it.

Evangelium non est secundum hominem (Gal 1:10).

The Gospel is not of human origin.

The word of God comes into human heart directly. Nobody can teach us it but our Lord. When he speaks, you know that it is the truth which you need in your life. Subsequently, you feel grateful for his grace and power which you have received from Heaven. You praise your God for his great works and delights. Furthermore, you are sure that he is faithful and reliable. Through his words you always get the inspiration to love one another as you have been loved by Jesus Christ. If you listen to his Gospel carefully, you become kind-hearted and open for the needs of others. You will never pass by anybody in need, but will be moved with compassion at his sight. Also you will be ready to sacrifice yourself and your plans to help and care for people. You will not think just about your interest. On the contrary, you will treat everyone with mercy as you have been given it. In such a way, the Good News might be shared in the world with your good will and openess of heart.

Sinite parvulos venire ad me (Mk 10:14).

Let the children come to me.

There are many difficult issues in our lives. Nonetheless, Jesus invites us to become like a child. In our opinion, children usually do not know how to cope with big problems. However, their attitude is very interesting. If they meet something what is too complicated , they ask their parents to help them. And their parents usually come and support them. We are to be similar to them in this attitude toward God, our Father. We can always ask him for help if we are not strong enough. There might be serious troubles either in our communities or in our relationships, but we do have opportunity to appeal for light to the beloved Father. And our Lord explains us that sometimes the difficult periods are to make us perfect through suffering. In this way we are being taught how to depend on God completely. Many times when we overcome difficulties, we can see that they were needed to strengthen us. In addition, we discover later how much good we have already received from God and our relatives. Also we understand that everything can be a blessing if we go trhough it with our Lord. May he only bless us all the days of our lives.

Potestas calcandi supra serpentes (Lk 10:19).

Power to tread upon serpents.

As Christian you have received the power to overcome all evil in your life. For you are being supported by the strength of Jesus Christ who is risen from death. You are not to be afraid nor to escape though Satan is acting in the world all the time. Nevertheless, you are encouraged to destroy the full force of your enemy. In addition, you should know that nothing will harm you if you are in good relationship with your Lord. With him you will obtain the kingdom of God and you will make it present among others. It is also the reason to rejoice in the Holy Spirit and to praise your Father, the Creator of heaven and earth. But many people still do not know about it. And we are to tell them and to reveal them the whole truth about their salvation. Since all people are created to get to know the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is the greatest blessing to understand that all of us are children of such a merciful God who is always with us.

Manum meam ponam super os meum (Jb 40:4).

I put my hand over my mouth.

The best attitude toward God is to abide in silence. For usually we speak too much and we do not know how to listen. Although we have two ears and only one mouth, we do not use these limbs accurately. If we heard God carefully, we would be aware of his presence in our lives. Since he is with us as we sit and as we stand; as we sleep and as we awake, always. Moreover, his Spirit gives us life and we can exist because of his grace. And there is no place in the universe where God is absent. For that reason, we are not able to hide anything from his sight. Everywhere his hand guides us and holds us fast. From the beginning of our life he forms our inmost being and our end is in his plans too. So we are to be grateful for all his blessings through our whole life. Further, we need to hear his voice and to fulfill his divine will. We should not harden our hearts when he calls us to sacrifice ourselves in accordance with his will. But just in silence we are able to understand his precepts fully and then to follow them. Subsequently, we are to admire God for his wonderful works in our lives.

Sicut agnos inter lupos (Lk 10:3).

Like lambs among wolves.

The Good News is to be preached. However, most of the Christians seem not to know about it. In their opinion, they are not responsible for doing this ministry. Therefore, Jesus so often reminds us that we are called to follow his example and to be witnesses to others. Moreover, he cautions us about the difficulties with teaching people. Nevertheless, he sends us like the humble lambs among wolves who share bad tidings. He encourages us to go with peace which is so much needed nowadays. Since inner peace is a sign of the deep relationship with God. With this peace in hearts we are able to become fruitful preachers. It does not mean that we will earn a lot, but in such a way we will be worthy to receive the reward of the heavenly kingdom. Further, we will prove that the kingdom of God is at hand and we need to repent and believe in the Gospel. As Christians we are to wait for the Lord with courage and be stouthearted. In all of this we are to take the example of our Good Shepherd who was calm, humble and patient.

Sapiens corde est et fortis robore (Jb 9:4).

Wise in heart and mighty in strength.

It is hard to get to know God. However, we have some hints from the Scriptures which describe him. Two very important God's characteristics are wisdom and might. They are so splendid that we even cannot compare our reasoning and strength with him. For we are just humans who are created by him. Our wisdom comes from his Wisdom and our strength has its source in his Might. As Bible says God is able to remove the mountains which means that he can do anything. In addition, the whole universe depends on him. Since he commands the sun and it rises; he also seals up all the stars. Everything what is created takes its being from him. With his great power he does wonderful things beyond reckoning. But at the same time, he is hidden from our sight. He uses his delicacy and it is difficult to recognise his steps and signs. We are worthy neither to compete with him nor to discuss. His mysteries are too profound and we are not able to perceive them. For that reason, our best attitude toward him is to stay in calmness and humbleness. Sometimes we can appeal to him and ask him for his light. If we do so, we might receive his divine gifts such as divine wisdom and strength.

Praecedet te angelus meus (Ex 23:23).

My angel will go before you.

We human beings cannot be angels, but we are called to be children of God. And it is our great honor to have God as our Father. Subsequently, it is our vocation to fulfill the role of child in our life. Further, it is the best way to enter the kingdom of heaven. First of all, we are to humble ourselves and to listen to God carefully. Through the Scripture he is calling us to place our trust and to abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Since he is our refuge and fortress. Moreover, he puts angels in charge to guard us in all our ways. They are supposed to rescue us from all the dangers, their pinions are to cover us and under their wings we can find the shelter from evil. As a result, we will not fear the terror of the night nor any problems. For we are sure that with their help no evil will befall us. In addition, we will be safe on our way to the heavenly kingdom. Only thing we are to do is to be attentive to them and to heed their voice. In such a way, we will achieve the goal of our earthly journey and live with God forever.

Homo simplex et rectus (Jb 1:8).

Blameless and upright.

God wants us to be blameless and upright. Satan enjoys when we are blameful and sinful. But it depends on us which one we choose to be our master. Many saints of the past desired God to be their Lord. And God blessed the work of their hands, but sometimes put them in front of temptation. In these difficult times, he could check whether they keep loving him or not. The holy people proved that they were worthy to be called God's children. And did not forget about him but believed in his mercy. Moreover, they prayed a lot even if they did not understand the will of God. They knew that God was the Lord and in his power was to give life and to take it away. Further, they were afraid to commit sin and have never said anything disrespectful of God. On the contrary, they inclined their ears to the God's voice and heard his words. Often with tears in their eyes they cried before God and asked him to have mercy on them. Although God tested their hearts with the fire of suffering, he found no malice in them.

Manducabit carnes vestras sicut ignis (Jas 5:3).

It will devour your flesh like a fire.

God's voice in our hearts is like a fire which devours everything. It destroys all our uncertainties and doubts and makes us aware of divine presence among us. If you experience this fire, you are able to enkindle others too. You become like a candle which shines with the beautiful flame. Similarly, the man who once was touched by God's Spirit will never forget about it. Moreover, this sign will remain on his soul forever. In the past, there were many people who were tought by God directly. They became prophets and leaders of others who were following them. They knew for sure that the fear of the Lord is pure and his ordinances are true. With this in mind they went across the world preaching. They kept God's commands diligently and tried to be blameless and innocent of serious sins. Nowadays, we are called to follow their example and to understand that Lord's precepts give joy to the heart. Therefore, we ask God to consecrate us in his truth which is written in the Bible. For we also want to perform mighty deeds in Jesus Christ's name. We would like to take care of the little ones who believe in him and show them our hearts which are ablaze with the fire of God's love.

Maiora videbis (J 1:50).

You will see greater things.

There is a big battle on the world between good and evil. On one side there are good angels supported by God, and on the other devils led by Luciferus. This war happens not only in the world, but also in our communities and in our hearts. However, the evil will never prevail but the good. In God's plan there is no place for what is wrong. The evil destroys itself and does not have power to give life. On the contrary, goodness is fruitful and will overcome the evil. Although the bad things look horrifying, they must disappear finally. The reason is that Jesus Christ is a winner who has destroyed the death and its lord the Satan. Subsequently, salvation and power have come with the Son of God. He cast out the evil spirits and gave his followers strength to resist them. As a result, we no longer have to be afraid of evil. We are encouraged by the Blood of the Lamb and his testimony. Now, we rejoice because by the grace of God we also are to win with everything what is evil in our lives. With choirs of good angels we are supposed to dwell with Christ in his Kingdom of goodness, justice and love. Amen.

Omnia tempus habent (Eccl 3:1).

There is an appointed time for everything.

Time is given to us by God. At one time he let us be born and exist on the world. He also knows when our life will be finished. He has prepared everything for us and invited us to do his will. Moreover, he has created humans in his image to fulfill his precepts. And he has strengthened us to overcome the difficult times of weeping and mourning, but at the same time tought us how to use the joyful periods in our lives. Therefore, we should listen to his advise very carefully and try to live our best. Although there are better and worse moments, we are to be good disciples of our God. It means to carry out the tasks appointed for us. For God has made everything appropriate to its time and we are supposed to discover it. Afterwards we are to be grateful for all his help. Since he is our mercy and fortress, and stronghold, and deliverer. We do trust in him and bless him for everything. Overall, we appreciate that he has sent his only Son to give his life as a ransom for us.

Omnia vanitas (Eccl 1:2).

All things are vanity.

If we understand that God is the most important of all things, we will consider everything as vanity. For nothing can bring us full satisfaction but God's grace and blessing. Consequently, if we follow his rules and commandments, we become happier, more peaceful and kinder. Neither person, nor creature, nor work is able to make us attain the salvation of our souls. In addition, everything will pass away but God's words will last forever. Further, even a wonderful nature and its miracles cannot have us astonished. For everything is changing and finally dies. It happens similarly to the wind which blows sometimes very violently and then disappears. Like the river which supports all creature with lifegiving water and has its end in the ocean. And human beings are supposed to finish their lives at one time too. Nobody can escape from the law of the death. But it is not the end but the beginning as we do believe. Our goal is to rest in the Kingdom of God with all the saints and holy angels. It is the will of omnipotent God the Creator of heaven and earth.

Virtus et potestas super omnia daemonia (Lk 9:1).

Power and authority over all demons.

Jesus Christ comes to us and gathers us together to strengthen us. Since he wishes us to be resistant to evil and to everything which can harm us. Further, he does not want us to be defeated by demons. On the contrary, he makes us proclaim the Kingdom of God and cure all diseases. For that reason, we do not have to worry how to fulfill his desire. He provides us with everything in his holy sacraments. We just are to be ready to follow him and to preach the Gospel. If we agree to do so, his divine peace and grace will accompany us. And all the people will experience his presence in our lives. However, some of them will be unwilling to accept the truth. They will try to interfere with our witness. Nonetheless, we are not to give up easily because proclaiming the Good News and curing diseases is much more important. Overall, we must not stop doing it despite any problem. For we are certain that the Scripture contains all the truth and people are to know it. There is nothing more precious for us and we cannot hide it before others. This truth endures forever and is firm as the heavens.

Appendit corda Dominus (Prv 21:2).

The Lord proves hearts.

All of us are in the hands of our Lord. Since he knows us very and penetrates our conscience thoroughly. So we depends on him totally and he leads us where he wants. However, we have a free will and sometimes we decide by our own. Consequently, we often do not please him nor let him accompany us on our paths. We make our own decisions which not always are perfect nor acceptable to the Lord. Our mind and our proud heart can lead us astray. Moreover, our wicked ideas have their fulfilment in sin. On the contrary, if we let God lead us by hand through life, we are much more happier and peaceful. For we need him to instruct us in order to gain knowledge. Therefore, we do ask our Lord to quide us in the way of his commands. We do desire to be blameless and to keep his laws. Also we do want to understand them better and promise to meditate on them carefully. As a result, we hope to get the discernment of God's precepts in our hearts. Then we will rejoice in the path of his commandments continually, forever and ever.

Ipse mansuetis dabit gratiam (Prv 3:34).

To the humble he shows kindness.

God encourages us to be humble. For if you are humble, you abide in the truth. You do not lord over others, but try to be their companion. You know that you are very often mistaken like all human beings. As a result you live at peace with your neighbors and have the inner peace in your heart. Furthermore, you are in the friendship with God and he blesses you in your endeavors. Therefore, it is good to walk blamelessly and to do justice. Since the Christian way of life is to think the truth in your mind always and to be honest in all relations. Moreover, to be a Christian is to honor those who fear the Lord and to set the example for others. In such a way, you can also approach the holy mountain of God's presence. Subsequently, you will be the light shining before all the people you live with. And it is just your vocation you have been called to. As a follower of Jesus Christ you are to be a lamp which is placed on a lampstand of the world so that those who are in the darkness may see the divine light flowing from you.

Exiit, qui seminat, seminare semen suum (Lk 8:5).

A sower went out to sow his seed.

Jesus is preaching and walking with us all the time. If only he sees someone who is interested in achieving wisdom, he is ready to enlighten this person. Of course, there are various attitudes to the Christ's teaching. And people are not always prepared to recieve it sufficiently. There are many distractions which hinder them to go deeper in the relationship with God. In addition, each of us has his own difficulties and has to overcome them too. However, it is not impossible to be in the frienship with Jesus Christ. There are examples of thousands of men and women who kept the deep relation with their Lord. As a result they gave beautiful fruits for the world. Today Jesus invites us again to attain the knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom o God. Therefore, with the psalmist we are to say that we are going to walk in the presence of our God in the light of the living. For we are sure that God is with us and we do trust in him without fear. Also we take vows to follow his steps and to listen to his words which Jesus has sowed for us through the gospel.

Vinctus in Domino (Eph 4:1).

A prisoner for the Lord.

All of us depend on our God who has given us life and power. Also we are to follow the example of Jesus Christ who lived on the earth. Subsequently, we are called to be humble, gentle and patient all the time. The reason is that we are disciples of our Lord who bore with people through love. Supported by his Spirit of love we are supposed to do our best to preserve the unity through the bond of peace. Furthermore, as God's children we have hope and faith that only goodness is the right way to choose. Since God and Father of all is over all and through all and in all. In addition, each of us has received the grace according to the measure of Christ's gift. Therefore, all of us have a special vocation to fulfill in the community of the Church. And we are not left alone because our God has equipped his holy ones to work as ministers for others. As a result, we are to build up the Body of Christ and to attain to the unity of faith and knowledge. In such a way, we will mature our manhood to the extent of the full stature of Christ the Lord.

Gratia autem Dei sum id quod sum (1 Cor 15:10).

By the grace of God I am what I am.

It is good to remind yourself of importance of God's word toward you. Since each of us Christians is supposed to be moved by the Scripture. There is a sense of our life and its purpose. By the grace of God and his light we are able to live a good life despite many troubles. For that reason it is worthy to meditate on the readings very often and especially when problems arise. When we read the Bible, we are being supported and encouraged by the examples of the holy men. Also we are invited to follow Jesus Christ who sacrificed himself for the salvation of the world. Moreover, we are told that he is always with us and helps us in our difficult situations. In addition, he changes us to be better and makes us strong against the evil. With his grace we can overcome everything and even suffer death. Following Jesus in our life we are good examples for others how to survive in spite of the attacks of the prince of darkness. Therefore, we are to be thankful for his many blessings and everything he has done for us. With Jesus Christ we are secure in life and one day we will achieve the kingdom of heaven.

Iustificata est sapientia ab omnibus filiis suis (Lk 7:35).

Wisdom is vindicated by all her children.

Often we behave like children and do not want to take responsibility for our life. Obviously, it is easier because everything seems to be funny. However, the truth is that we live in the real world. And we are not allowed to spend our whole time just playing and joking. There are periods in our life when we suffer and in this situation we must stand face to face with problems. Therefore, we need to prepare ourselves for it very carefully. Sometimes it is even necessary to find time and place for being alone with God. In such a way we become strong enough with divine inspiration to overcome difficulties. Other time we are to meet with people and cooperate with them in their daily life. For being sympathetic with people in need is also a good way to improve ourselves. Overall, our prayer is always a good solution and it gives us inner peace and freedom from things which are complicated. During prayer we receive strength and light from above to lead a wise life in the world.

Aemulamini autem charismata maiora (1 Cor 12:31).

Do all this mighty deeds.

Everyone is needed in the Kingdom of God. For God the Father wanted each one to exist and have a special task to do. Obviously, there are various kinds of vocations in the human community. Nonetheless, every creature has life which originates in God's Spirit. And this Spirit guides and leads us in our life. As a result, some people are teachers, others students, some doctors, and some have other responsibility. The reason is to support and help each other. Not everybody is called to do great things, but even small ones are necessary to be done and someone has to take such a work. In addition, some of us are very close to God and others far away from their Creator. Therefore, we do need one another to encourage ourselves and see different points of view too. The thing is to strive eagerly for the greatest spiritual gifts. It is our main purpose to improve ourselves, especially in our spiritual life. So we are to let God work on us and to be obiedient to his divine will. It will bring us happiness and our life will be fulfilled with complacency. Also let us be thankful for everything in our life. Since there are so many blessings we receive every day from our God through the people we live with.

Hoc facite in meam commemorationem (1 Cor 11:24).

Do this in remembrance of me.

The Holy Eucharist must be the most important moment of our life. Not only because of strengthening the relation between man and God but also between participants of the mass. For that reason, we should be very well prepared to attain it. Our conscience is supposed to be clear and full of compassion for one another. For the community of the Church is a group of people who try to make progress in sanctification. This community is not like any other but is built on the foundation of the Holy Spirit who is acting in it. Furthermore, the Eucharist is the main point of Jesus' teaching. Since it is an offering of One's life and giving thanks to God the Father for all his goodness. It is following the example of Creator who takes care of the whole world. For all the time God is giving himself and sending his Spirit to make the creation exist. And in every mass we remind ourselves these mysteries of divine presence in our lives and in all his creatures. The bread and wine as the fruits of the earth are God's gifts too. Consequently, receiving bread and wine we are being provided by God's grace. Celebrating Eucharist we are to be grateful for our life and to enjoy being together as children of God.

Sancti de mundo iudicabunt (1 Cor 6:2).

The holy ones will judge the world.

There are difficult issues in our life and we need to resolve them. It depends on us whom we will ask for help in these cases. Some of us count only on their own mind and reasoning. However, the better choice is to find solution among people who are close to God. Moreover, we are called to be examples for others who are in need. All of us have a great value and human dignity to live a just life in accordance with God's will. Subsequently, all of us have conscience which is the gift from heaven. For that reason, nobody can say that he does not know what is right or what is wrong. For in our hearts the divine law is written. Moreover, as human family we are siblings for each other. All of us have one Father in heaven and are invited to be holy. And sometimes it is even better to be cheated than to cheat others. Also it is better to suffer than to lead others to suffering. Since it is the kingdom of God when we try to live as Jesus lived and to follow him even if people do not accept our style of life. The point is to reach the everlasting joy and sanctification with our Lord Jesus Christ in the Spirit of our God. Amen.

Surge et sta in medium (Lk 6:8).

Come up and stand before us.

Jesus walks among us every day and abides in us especially when we are suffering or afraid. He teaches us through the gospel how to live despite of our weaknesses and problems. Each of us is able to ask him for help and Jesus never refuses to support us. However some of us neither trust him nor open their hearts toward God. Consequently, such people are unhappy and disappointed. Furthermore, they are surprised that others can put their trust in Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, the Son of God wants to heal all the people and to be present at those who need his grace. Also it is good to know that every Jesus' word has power to change our life completely. But the thing is that our ears must be opened and obey him. So if you listen to his voice,  you are to do what he is asking for. If you place your trust in him with whole your heart, you will see miracles in your life too. On the contrary, if you keep your mind closed to his holy words, you will be unsatisfied and annoyed. Since we human beings depend on our Creator and his blessings. Moreover, we were not able to live even for a moment, if he did not give us his Holy Spirit to sustain us.

Vocatus per voluntatem Dei (1 Cor 1:1).

Called by the will of God.

Christ has chosen us to be sanctified. Consequently, there are various vocations to fulfill his wish. However, nobody can become holy without the grace of God. For that reason every day we need to call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and ask him to make us worthy of the heavenly gifts. Since our hearts have been created in order to attain these divine graces. Thus, human beings do desire peace and happiness which come from above. Also we comprehend that our longings are satisfied and fully enriched only by our Beloved Jesus Christ. It is he who keeps preaching us through his gospel and sacraments. Accordingly, we are confirmed and the spriritual gifts are bestowed on us. We come closer and closer to the revelation of the divine wisdom. We are strengthened and able to stand firm to the end of our life. For by his grace we become irreproachable and faithful to the God's commendments. As a result, the beautiful songs come out from our mouth. In such a way we thank and praise our Lord for all his blessings forever and ever. Amen.

Ego dedi te hodie in civitatem munitam (Jer 1:18).

I have made you a fortified city.

If you listen to the words of God carefully, you become stronger and stronger. His word makes you a fortified city which cannot be destroyed by any human words or deeds. Because it is your God who acts and creates all that he speaks. Often you are scared or distressed and it means that you depend on your own thoughts and ideas. And in this case you feel insecure and weak. But if you trust in God's word totally, nobody and nothing will be able to prevail over you. Since God assures you that he is always with you to deliver you from evil. Therefore, I glorify and praise my God for all moments of my life when he was my refuge. I am secure for he is my rock and fortress where I can always find my shelter. Although there are many difficulties and troubles, I do hope and place my trust in him. Further, I proclaim his wondrous deeds and try to be his witness. In addition, I am not afraid of people who are againts my God and his commandments. For I know that their plans will not come into effect.

Oramus semper pro vobis (2 Thes 1:11).

We always pray for you.

We have many friends who keep praying for us and also we remember them in our own prayers. In this way we encourage each other and make progress in sacnctity. Because strong faith is a source of many miracles and blessings, so we ought to pray very often and come closer to God. Consequently, if we are in good relationship with God, we can help others the most. In addition, with faith in our hearts we are able to endure all difficulties and become examples for people who are in various kinds of troubles. Having received the grace from Heaven we are to announce it among our friends and family members. Doing so we bear witness of God's presence in our daily life. And God the Father is worthy of praise and of giving him thanks all the time. Since he takes care of us and gives us the Spirit of life. Overall, it is a great pity that so many people neither pay homage nor even believe in his Providence over the whole world. It would be much better if all children of God were grateful and kept his instructions in their lives.

Subiecti invicem in timore Christi (Eph 5:21).

Be subordinate out of reverence for Christ.

To be obedient is not an easy thing to do. Nonetheless, Jesus Christ and his Blessed Mother gave us and examples of obedience in their lives. Mary was subordinate when she heard the voice of the angel and her Son was obedient to the point of his cross. They supported and encouraged one another. Thus the Son was strong because he had a faithful Mother. And his Mother could survive many hardships because her Son went ahead of her and had suffered a lot. Similarly, each of us is called to be obedient and as a result strong in one's life. The reason is that all of us have our God who guides and loves us very much. Furthermore, he is always ready to offer himself over for us in every eucharist and to cleanse us with his holy words of reconciliation. Consequently, we are supposed to present ourselves in splendor and divine might. For we are able to become holy and without any blemish. As obedient children of God we are invited to participate in the Kingdom of Heaven yet on the earth.

Veni et vide (Jn 1:46).

Come and see.

We have many friends who help us in the various moments of our life. Also we have to make difficult decisions and very often we need their help. However, some situations are too complicated and nobody can resolve them. In these cases we depend on somebody else who came from heaven - on Jesus Christ. As our best friend he knows us very well and is able to look into our hearts. For this reason we cannot hide anything from him. Furthermore, each of us has a deep desire to meet him and be taught by him. Because he sees everything what is hidden from the sight of human beings. And each of his words has the power to make great things and miracles. Therefore, being in friendship with Jesus is so necessary and good. Since he turns our eyes from the earth to heaven and attracts our attention to the matters which are really important. Moreover, with his support we come closer in the relationship with God.

Cum sanctificatus fuero in vobis (Ez 26:23).

I prove my holiness through you.

God is present in the world through his people. So each of us can be a channel of his grace to others. However, lots of people forget about that and they are not the signs of their Creator. Moreover, there are even Christians who are not witnesses of Jesus Christ at all. For these reasons, mamy people do not believe in God or live as there was no God. Therefore, believers who have strong faith are needed. Such women and men who will go and give testimony of God's presence in their life. Such individuals who have experienced that God had chosen them from among the people and sent them to the world. They were cleansed with the spiritual water from their impurities and sins. They have received a new heart and a new spirit to be similar to their God. Consequently, they live according to his statutes and decrees. Furthermore, they indeed are God's children in every action and in every moment of their lives. And such children God wants to have.

Dominus pascit me (Ps 23:1).

The Lord is my shepherd.

In our life we need a leader. It means someone who will show us what is important and what we should do. Since very often we do not know exactly what we are supposed to do. And there are many different groups and people who would like to lead us. Some of them have their own interest doing so. However, there is one Leader who wants to be called our Shepherd. He is Jesus Christ who came on the earth to sacrifice himself for us. Living on our earth he became our Friend whom we can trust. He promised that he would show us the right path trough our life. If we follow him, we will visit such places which refresh our souls. With him we are always safe and we are not afraid even if we walk in the dark valley. For he goes before us with his rod and staff of God's commandments. When we keep all of them, we are courageous. Moreover, we can enjoy at his table of the holy sacraments where we receive necessary graces and blessings. Strengthened by his divine power we are able to change ourselves to be like him. Accordingly, goodness and kindness follow us all the days of our life. And finally we shall dwell in the kingdom of our Lord in the heaven.

Intrare in regnum Dei (Mt 19:24).

To enter the kingdom of heaven.

All of us know that it is rather hard to enter the heaven. Since we need to overcome many hardships and difficulties before we abide in there. Moreover, we have many things and friends who are important for us. And it is always unpleasant to leave them all in the moment of death. Perhaps it is easier for animals to pass away, because they do not realize what they are losing. But, we human beings do. So we are to learn from the world of nature as Jesus taught us. Many times he used the examples taken from the flora and fauna. Thus, his disciples often were really astonished, because they would have never thought like that. Similar to us, they had many questions and tried to find the answers. But they were too limited to do it on their own. For that reason, Jesus has always given them support and promised them the reward of eternal life. In such a way he changed their point of view not to be focused just on the earthly matters. They were surprised that it was possible to raise their minds up and to perceive other realities which were waiting for them in the kingdom of heaven.

Si vis perfectus esse (Mt 19:21).

If you wish to be perfect.

There is a deep desire in the human heart to approach Jesus and to speak with him. We would like to ask him many questions about our present and future life. And he is very patient with answering to our problems. Sometimes he wants to encourage us to search for the answers on our own. When we ask ourselves, we also find some explanation deeply in our own mind. Although we are able to discover some misteries of our faith, yet still there are things hidden from our sight. Therefore, again and again we come back to Jesus asking him for help. In this case, he puts before our eyes some of the treasures we would like to find. Moreover, he points out to the Bible and the God's commandments where the foundations are laid. Even though we have already known them, yet with the Spirit of Jesus we can discover more and more. Since the Holy Spirit strengthens us and clarifies everything for us. We find rest and peace if we follow its advice and fulfill the God's will. However, we often are not eager to be obedient, but we prefer to live in our own way. Subsequently, we become sad and restless, because we cannot find happiness on our own account. So help us, o Lord, follow you in our daily life in order to be holy as you are holy.

Et ornavi te ornamento (Ez 16:11).

I adorned you with jewelry.

I am a poor man because I have made many mistakes in my life. Nevertheless you, my Lord, come to me and bathe me with water of reconciliation. You wash away all my sins. Moreover, you anoint me with oil of your holy sacraments. You clothe me with the abundance of grace. In addition, you put sandals on my feet to be your apostle and witness. Also you give me special gifts to preach the Gospel and to heal diseases among people. I am not worthy to receive so many treasures from you. But you do not mind that I have been a naughty child. Again and again you strengthen me from above. You make me look marvellous and cleanse my heart. Furthermore, you want me to become perfect and be worthy of being called the King's son. As a result I am strong with your blessings and enriched with divine splendor. Please, my Lord, do not let me ever go away from you. Because without your support I will be as fragile as a baby child. Accept me as your prodigal son and I will keep your covenant forever.

Ego portentum vestrum (Ez 12:10).

I am a sign for you.

God wants me to be a sign for others. He invites me and speaks to me through the Scripture every day. He gives me strict orders and makes me fulfill his will. Therefore each of my deeds should be done in holiness and in accordance with God's word. Obviously, it is not an easy task, but my Lord supports me with his strength and assures me that I am able to do it. Usually, people do not care about the God's witnesses but nonetheless I cannot give up to be one of them. It is my vocation and I find happiness following my Master in every moment of my life. People can ignore me and even harm me, but I do not worry. On the contrary, I prepare my baggage putting inside every word of my God. As an exile in the world I walk among the people and try to do my best. I shoulder the burden of difficulties and everyday problems in order to imitate my King who died on the cross. I cover my face if I make mistake and quickly stand up if  I fall down. O my God, help me to listen to your words carefully and always fulfill your holy will.

Mulier amicta sole (Rev 12:1).

A woman clothed with the sun.

We all have the Mother in Heaven. She takes care of us her children all the time. Moreover, she is also the Queen of the Kingdom of God. The first woman who was taken with soul and body to the Heaven. Her life was so illustrious that now she enjoys the happiness and reward of eternal life with God. She gave birth to the God's Son who came to the world to redeem us. With faith she received the angel's message and fulfiled it in her whole life. However, as it was in the past and happens nowadays some people inspired by evil spirits do not want to accept her to be their Blessed Mother. Being in the opposition to the Mother they reject the Good News brought by her Son. And on the world the fight between good and evil lasts without end. But the humble woman is strong enoght with the divine power to win despite many attacks of the devil. Today we pay homage to give her thanks for all she is doing for us, especially for being our Beloved Mother.

Audi, quaecumque loquor ad te (Ez 2:8).

Obey me when I speak to you.

To be obedient to the will of God is the best choice we can do. This divine will is hidden in the Scripture. And only thing we should do is to open ourselves for it. God's words are placed before our eyes and we just ought to read them. We are to open the Bible and start reading. There are different kinds of information which we need the most. There is something to comfort us when we are depressed or restless. There is something else when we are waiting for advice or explanation. But obviously it is impossible to find these messages if we do not open the holy book. However, if we have already understood the God's message, we are supposed to share it with others. Because it is very important not to keep it in secret. Usually God's words are so strong that they have influence on the whole world. Therefore, after receiving the light from God we are invited to become the lights for the world too. Since the God's word written in the Scriptures has power to change not only our own life but also our friends, relatives and all people in need. Accordingly, let us obey the will of God and share it with one another continuously.

Magnificentia eius super (Ps 148:13).

His majesty is above.

There are many reasons to praise our God. For heaven and earth are filled with his glory. Also our life is full of the signs of his presence. Therefore all creatures are supposed to praise their Creator. And it is a great pity that some people do not want to give him homage nor to think about him. After all each moment of our life when we forget about him is being lost. Since our life totally depends on his grace. Accordingly, it is wisdom to live in awareness of being in the hands of God. And we are similar to children who disdain their parents when we show disrespect to our God. For without him everything looses its colours and sense. Furthermore, there is no beginning nor happy ending without our Father from Heaven. And it is difficult to live in the world with no God too. On the contrary, if we know that we are always in God's hands, our life is safe and we have a clear future before our eyes. So let us live in God's presence all the time.

Sufficit mihi, Domine! (1 Kgs 19:4).

This is enough, o Lord!

Each of us has bad days in his life. And sometimes we are so exhausted that we would rather die than live. In these cases it is good if we still remember our Lord and try to think of him. It always brings us support and strength. For God's grace is coming down from heaven like rain for a dry land. Our Father sends us his apostles and angels to help in our difficult circumstances. However, we often do not want any help and reject them. We would like to live or die not depending on others. Nonetheless, God does not finish to send us his signs of love and mercy. Again and again he comes to us in various situations touching us and suggesting not to give up. Moreover, he has a special and terrific plan for each person. Since he created us for happiness and goodness. It only depends on us if we accept his invitation and follow him. For sure with his blessing we are able to do great things. Strengthened at the table of Eucharist we can walk through our whole life and one day meet God on his holy mountain.

Homines quasi pisces maris (Hb 1:14).

Men like the fish of the sea.

We are very small as human beings in a comparison with our God. Since we are mortal and he is immortal; we are weak, he strong. In addition, we are engaged in evil deeds and God is entirely good. We are impatient and he is very slow to become angry. From these reasons we are supposed to listen to him carefully and to fulfil his will. God pleases to speak with us and gives us his advise in the Scriptures where his messages are placed. Sometimes we only have to wait and open our minds to receive the divine light. Obviously, the faith is needed to interprete the words of God correctly. In the Holy Bible we can get to know that God judges the world with justice and governs the peoples with equity. Furthermore, he never forsakes those who seek him. On the contrary, he is always a stronghold for the oppressed and in times of distress. Therefore, it is very good to be the fish in the God's sea which is the world.

In caritate perpetua dilexi te (Jer 31:3).

With age-old love I loved you.

God is full of love and he wants to share his love with us. However, not everyone is open enough to receive it. For that reason God again and again tries to speak to human hearts about his divine love. Moreover, he reminds us all events from our past which prove how much he cares for us. Accordingly, he accompanies us especially in the most difficult moments of our life and in such a way assures us that his love is with us all the time. It should encourage us, restore us and rebuild our integrity. Subsequently, we become joyful, peaceful and loving as well. Having known that we regain our strength to live a beautiful life. With his divine energy and blessing we are able to do everything. We can do these things because we feel he is at hand and guards us as a shepherd his flock. In addition, God can do much more we could imagine. In his power is also to ransom our guilts and redeem us even if we have fallen many times. In this in mind let us come streaming to the Lord's blessing. As a result we will rejoice, our mourning will change into joy and we will be consoled after our sorrows.

Ducit illos in montem excelsum seorsum solos (Mk 9:2).

Led them up a high mountain apart by themselves.

Jesus invites us and takes us apart from the world. In such a way, he wants to make us his special friends and to teach us his mysteries. It cannot be done quickly or in a hurry but it takes time. For that reason, first he leads us out of the world of noise and earthen matters. Far from our daily routine and circumstances, he shows us the splendor of nature and his miracles. There in his divine presence we also can be transformed. First of all our thinking and attitude toward life. And it is always good for us to let him change our mind. However, it is impossible here on the earth to abide in such an exultation all the time. We can only use these moments of silence and inner peace to open our heart for his will. Afterwards we are invited to follow his instructions to live a happy and peaceful life. Furthermore, we can keep this experience and be witnesses for others.
