Manducabit carnes vestras sicut ignis (Jas 5:3).

It will devour your flesh like a fire.

God's voice in our hearts is like a fire which devours everything. It destroys all our uncertainties and doubts and makes us aware of divine presence among us. If you experience this fire, you are able to enkindle others too. You become like a candle which shines with the beautiful flame. Similarly, the man who once was touched by God's Spirit will never forget about it. Moreover, this sign will remain on his soul forever. In the past, there were many people who were tought by God directly. They became prophets and leaders of others who were following them. They knew for sure that the fear of the Lord is pure and his ordinances are true. With this in mind they went across the world preaching. They kept God's commands diligently and tried to be blameless and innocent of serious sins. Nowadays, we are called to follow their example and to understand that Lord's precepts give joy to the heart. Therefore, we ask God to consecrate us in his truth which is written in the Bible. For we also want to perform mighty deeds in Jesus Christ's name. We would like to take care of the little ones who believe in him and show them our hearts which are ablaze with the fire of God's love.

Maiora videbis (J 1:50).

You will see greater things.

There is a big battle on the world between good and evil. On one side there are good angels supported by God, and on the other devils led by Luciferus. This war happens not only in the world, but also in our communities and in our hearts. However, the evil will never prevail but the good. In God's plan there is no place for what is wrong. The evil destroys itself and does not have power to give life. On the contrary, goodness is fruitful and will overcome the evil. Although the bad things look horrifying, they must disappear finally. The reason is that Jesus Christ is a winner who has destroyed the death and its lord the Satan. Subsequently, salvation and power have come with the Son of God. He cast out the evil spirits and gave his followers strength to resist them. As a result, we no longer have to be afraid of evil. We are encouraged by the Blood of the Lamb and his testimony. Now, we rejoice because by the grace of God we also are to win with everything what is evil in our lives. With choirs of good angels we are supposed to dwell with Christ in his Kingdom of goodness, justice and love. Amen.

Omnia tempus habent (Eccl 3:1).

There is an appointed time for everything.

Time is given to us by God. At one time he let us be born and exist on the world. He also knows when our life will be finished. He has prepared everything for us and invited us to do his will. Moreover, he has created humans in his image to fulfill his precepts. And he has strengthened us to overcome the difficult times of weeping and mourning, but at the same time tought us how to use the joyful periods in our lives. Therefore, we should listen to his advise very carefully and try to live our best. Although there are better and worse moments, we are to be good disciples of our God. It means to carry out the tasks appointed for us. For God has made everything appropriate to its time and we are supposed to discover it. Afterwards we are to be grateful for all his help. Since he is our mercy and fortress, and stronghold, and deliverer. We do trust in him and bless him for everything. Overall, we appreciate that he has sent his only Son to give his life as a ransom for us.

Omnia vanitas (Eccl 1:2).

All things are vanity.

If we understand that God is the most important of all things, we will consider everything as vanity. For nothing can bring us full satisfaction but God's grace and blessing. Consequently, if we follow his rules and commandments, we become happier, more peaceful and kinder. Neither person, nor creature, nor work is able to make us attain the salvation of our souls. In addition, everything will pass away but God's words will last forever. Further, even a wonderful nature and its miracles cannot have us astonished. For everything is changing and finally dies. It happens similarly to the wind which blows sometimes very violently and then disappears. Like the river which supports all creature with lifegiving water and has its end in the ocean. And human beings are supposed to finish their lives at one time too. Nobody can escape from the law of the death. But it is not the end but the beginning as we do believe. Our goal is to rest in the Kingdom of God with all the saints and holy angels. It is the will of omnipotent God the Creator of heaven and earth.

Virtus et potestas super omnia daemonia (Lk 9:1).

Power and authority over all demons.

Jesus Christ comes to us and gathers us together to strengthen us. Since he wishes us to be resistant to evil and to everything which can harm us. Further, he does not want us to be defeated by demons. On the contrary, he makes us proclaim the Kingdom of God and cure all diseases. For that reason, we do not have to worry how to fulfill his desire. He provides us with everything in his holy sacraments. We just are to be ready to follow him and to preach the Gospel. If we agree to do so, his divine peace and grace will accompany us. And all the people will experience his presence in our lives. However, some of them will be unwilling to accept the truth. They will try to interfere with our witness. Nonetheless, we are not to give up easily because proclaiming the Good News and curing diseases is much more important. Overall, we must not stop doing it despite any problem. For we are certain that the Scripture contains all the truth and people are to know it. There is nothing more precious for us and we cannot hide it before others. This truth endures forever and is firm as the heavens.

Appendit corda Dominus (Prv 21:2).

The Lord proves hearts.

All of us are in the hands of our Lord. Since he knows us very and penetrates our conscience thoroughly. So we depends on him totally and he leads us where he wants. However, we have a free will and sometimes we decide by our own. Consequently, we often do not please him nor let him accompany us on our paths. We make our own decisions which not always are perfect nor acceptable to the Lord. Our mind and our proud heart can lead us astray. Moreover, our wicked ideas have their fulfilment in sin. On the contrary, if we let God lead us by hand through life, we are much more happier and peaceful. For we need him to instruct us in order to gain knowledge. Therefore, we do ask our Lord to quide us in the way of his commands. We do desire to be blameless and to keep his laws. Also we do want to understand them better and promise to meditate on them carefully. As a result, we hope to get the discernment of God's precepts in our hearts. Then we will rejoice in the path of his commandments continually, forever and ever.

Ipse mansuetis dabit gratiam (Prv 3:34).

To the humble he shows kindness.

God encourages us to be humble. For if you are humble, you abide in the truth. You do not lord over others, but try to be their companion. You know that you are very often mistaken like all human beings. As a result you live at peace with your neighbors and have the inner peace in your heart. Furthermore, you are in the friendship with God and he blesses you in your endeavors. Therefore, it is good to walk blamelessly and to do justice. Since the Christian way of life is to think the truth in your mind always and to be honest in all relations. Moreover, to be a Christian is to honor those who fear the Lord and to set the example for others. In such a way, you can also approach the holy mountain of God's presence. Subsequently, you will be the light shining before all the people you live with. And it is just your vocation you have been called to. As a follower of Jesus Christ you are to be a lamp which is placed on a lampstand of the world so that those who are in the darkness may see the divine light flowing from you.

Exiit, qui seminat, seminare semen suum (Lk 8:5).

A sower went out to sow his seed.

Jesus is preaching and walking with us all the time. If only he sees someone who is interested in achieving wisdom, he is ready to enlighten this person. Of course, there are various attitudes to the Christ's teaching. And people are not always prepared to recieve it sufficiently. There are many distractions which hinder them to go deeper in the relationship with God. In addition, each of us has his own difficulties and has to overcome them too. However, it is not impossible to be in the frienship with Jesus Christ. There are examples of thousands of men and women who kept the deep relation with their Lord. As a result they gave beautiful fruits for the world. Today Jesus invites us again to attain the knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom o God. Therefore, with the psalmist we are to say that we are going to walk in the presence of our God in the light of the living. For we are sure that God is with us and we do trust in him without fear. Also we take vows to follow his steps and to listen to his words which Jesus has sowed for us through the gospel.

Vinctus in Domino (Eph 4:1).

A prisoner for the Lord.

All of us depend on our God who has given us life and power. Also we are to follow the example of Jesus Christ who lived on the earth. Subsequently, we are called to be humble, gentle and patient all the time. The reason is that we are disciples of our Lord who bore with people through love. Supported by his Spirit of love we are supposed to do our best to preserve the unity through the bond of peace. Furthermore, as God's children we have hope and faith that only goodness is the right way to choose. Since God and Father of all is over all and through all and in all. In addition, each of us has received the grace according to the measure of Christ's gift. Therefore, all of us have a special vocation to fulfill in the community of the Church. And we are not left alone because our God has equipped his holy ones to work as ministers for others. As a result, we are to build up the Body of Christ and to attain to the unity of faith and knowledge. In such a way, we will mature our manhood to the extent of the full stature of Christ the Lord.

Gratia autem Dei sum id quod sum (1 Cor 15:10).

By the grace of God I am what I am.

It is good to remind yourself of importance of God's word toward you. Since each of us Christians is supposed to be moved by the Scripture. There is a sense of our life and its purpose. By the grace of God and his light we are able to live a good life despite many troubles. For that reason it is worthy to meditate on the readings very often and especially when problems arise. When we read the Bible, we are being supported and encouraged by the examples of the holy men. Also we are invited to follow Jesus Christ who sacrificed himself for the salvation of the world. Moreover, we are told that he is always with us and helps us in our difficult situations. In addition, he changes us to be better and makes us strong against the evil. With his grace we can overcome everything and even suffer death. Following Jesus in our life we are good examples for others how to survive in spite of the attacks of the prince of darkness. Therefore, we are to be thankful for his many blessings and everything he has done for us. With Jesus Christ we are secure in life and one day we will achieve the kingdom of heaven.

Iustificata est sapientia ab omnibus filiis suis (Lk 7:35).

Wisdom is vindicated by all her children.

Often we behave like children and do not want to take responsibility for our life. Obviously, it is easier because everything seems to be funny. However, the truth is that we live in the real world. And we are not allowed to spend our whole time just playing and joking. There are periods in our life when we suffer and in this situation we must stand face to face with problems. Therefore, we need to prepare ourselves for it very carefully. Sometimes it is even necessary to find time and place for being alone with God. In such a way we become strong enough with divine inspiration to overcome difficulties. Other time we are to meet with people and cooperate with them in their daily life. For being sympathetic with people in need is also a good way to improve ourselves. Overall, our prayer is always a good solution and it gives us inner peace and freedom from things which are complicated. During prayer we receive strength and light from above to lead a wise life in the world.

Aemulamini autem charismata maiora (1 Cor 12:31).

Do all this mighty deeds.

Everyone is needed in the Kingdom of God. For God the Father wanted each one to exist and have a special task to do. Obviously, there are various kinds of vocations in the human community. Nonetheless, every creature has life which originates in God's Spirit. And this Spirit guides and leads us in our life. As a result, some people are teachers, others students, some doctors, and some have other responsibility. The reason is to support and help each other. Not everybody is called to do great things, but even small ones are necessary to be done and someone has to take such a work. In addition, some of us are very close to God and others far away from their Creator. Therefore, we do need one another to encourage ourselves and see different points of view too. The thing is to strive eagerly for the greatest spiritual gifts. It is our main purpose to improve ourselves, especially in our spiritual life. So we are to let God work on us and to be obiedient to his divine will. It will bring us happiness and our life will be fulfilled with complacency. Also let us be thankful for everything in our life. Since there are so many blessings we receive every day from our God through the people we live with.

Hoc facite in meam commemorationem (1 Cor 11:24).

Do this in remembrance of me.

The Holy Eucharist must be the most important moment of our life. Not only because of strengthening the relation between man and God but also between participants of the mass. For that reason, we should be very well prepared to attain it. Our conscience is supposed to be clear and full of compassion for one another. For the community of the Church is a group of people who try to make progress in sanctification. This community is not like any other but is built on the foundation of the Holy Spirit who is acting in it. Furthermore, the Eucharist is the main point of Jesus' teaching. Since it is an offering of One's life and giving thanks to God the Father for all his goodness. It is following the example of Creator who takes care of the whole world. For all the time God is giving himself and sending his Spirit to make the creation exist. And in every mass we remind ourselves these mysteries of divine presence in our lives and in all his creatures. The bread and wine as the fruits of the earth are God's gifts too. Consequently, receiving bread and wine we are being provided by God's grace. Celebrating Eucharist we are to be grateful for our life and to enjoy being together as children of God.

Sancti de mundo iudicabunt (1 Cor 6:2).

The holy ones will judge the world.

There are difficult issues in our life and we need to resolve them. It depends on us whom we will ask for help in these cases. Some of us count only on their own mind and reasoning. However, the better choice is to find solution among people who are close to God. Moreover, we are called to be examples for others who are in need. All of us have a great value and human dignity to live a just life in accordance with God's will. Subsequently, all of us have conscience which is the gift from heaven. For that reason, nobody can say that he does not know what is right or what is wrong. For in our hearts the divine law is written. Moreover, as human family we are siblings for each other. All of us have one Father in heaven and are invited to be holy. And sometimes it is even better to be cheated than to cheat others. Also it is better to suffer than to lead others to suffering. Since it is the kingdom of God when we try to live as Jesus lived and to follow him even if people do not accept our style of life. The point is to reach the everlasting joy and sanctification with our Lord Jesus Christ in the Spirit of our God. Amen.

Surge et sta in medium (Lk 6:8).

Come up and stand before us.

Jesus walks among us every day and abides in us especially when we are suffering or afraid. He teaches us through the gospel how to live despite of our weaknesses and problems. Each of us is able to ask him for help and Jesus never refuses to support us. However some of us neither trust him nor open their hearts toward God. Consequently, such people are unhappy and disappointed. Furthermore, they are surprised that others can put their trust in Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, the Son of God wants to heal all the people and to be present at those who need his grace. Also it is good to know that every Jesus' word has power to change our life completely. But the thing is that our ears must be opened and obey him. So if you listen to his voice,  you are to do what he is asking for. If you place your trust in him with whole your heart, you will see miracles in your life too. On the contrary, if you keep your mind closed to his holy words, you will be unsatisfied and annoyed. Since we human beings depend on our Creator and his blessings. Moreover, we were not able to live even for a moment, if he did not give us his Holy Spirit to sustain us.
