Venite ad me (Mt 11:28)

Jesus invites us to come closer to him. Especially now in Advent season. How can we come closer to Jesus? First of all, through the holy sacraments. So we should start with confession and then receive Holy Communion. Also we meet Jesus in the chapel when we pray and sit in silence. During our prayer we can tell Jesus about everything. He is the One who listens and heals us.
Each of us is busy with many things. We have tasks and responsibilities before Christmas. But the most important task of every religious person is to spend time with the beloved One - Jesus Christ. In the silence of prayer, our Lord teaches us to be meek and humble. Only in silence we hear his gentle voice speaking to us. Our Teacher assures us that we can find rest in him.
Let us pray for the grace of prayer in the quite heart. Thus, we will prepare ourselves well for the coming Christmas.

Ecce dilectus meus (Mt 12:18)

The circumstances can be difficult. The sufferings can put you down. The people can fight against you. But you always can escape and find shelter at the God's side.
Firstly, you need to name your problems and face them bravely. Secondly, you are to stay with your friends and help the needy. Since there are also people who love you and whom you love. Thirdly, listen to the Word of God which can be your strength and light. Thus, you realize that you are created and chosen by God. So you are never alone. Furthermore, you are loved by the Lord. Jesus Christ takes delight in you and places his Spirit upon you.
Consequently, you are also called to rejoice and to share the Good News among people. They do not have to follow you. But you can be gentle and kind towards all of them. You should neither cry nor force them to do anything. Your good example is enough.
Be like Jesus who was humble and trustful even when he was abandoned by his own friends. Keep hope and faith. Do not give up. In this way, you are to overcome all the difficulties and find place in the Kingdom of God.

In vinculis caritatis (Hos 11:4)

God the Father loves you from the beginning. You are created from love and for love. Because you are a child of God, you should not escape from the embrace of the Father. You'd rather come closer and closer to him.
Do not look for anything what can give you happiness on the earth. Since the true happiness you can find only in your God. Everything you have is a gift - your health, friends and family. Each good person is a messenger of the divine love towards you. You are able to feel God's love not only through people but also through all the creatures. Everywhere in the universe you can search for the signs of the eternal love of God.
Obviously, as human being you are too small and incapable of seeing God face to face. Nevertheless, you are enriched from God's hands and every day of your life you can be astonished more and more. For the Holy One is always present among you. Give him thanks and praise him wholeheartedly from the morning of your life to the evening.

Audi (Ps 50:7)

God the Father speaks to us through the divine Word and makes us hear his message. However, very often our heart is not eager to listen to his words. We'd rather follow the advice of other people who may seduce us. In addition, our own mind produces many solutions which differ from the God's word. Therefore, we commit sins and break commandments. In our opinion, we know what to do and try to choose pleasure. But sometimes the difficult road is much better for the salvation of our soul.
All our sincere prayers are precious before God. But we also should remember that our own will is less important than God's holy will. We can neither pray nor offer anything for God in order to receive what we want. It does not work like that. Because God is our good and loving Father, he never gives us anything what hurts and makes us suffer. He always chooses the best way and the greatest happiness for all his beloved ones. If he cares for all the animals and plants, how much more he takes care of the human beings?
Overall, we should read the Holy Scripture and search for the answers carefully. There is no better way to communicate with God. To get the contact with the Lord our hearts must be cleansed and washed in the ocean of the divine mercy. Otherwise, we will not keep his words deep in our hearts. Finally, let us remember that on our own we will find neither peace nor joy in our life.

Adiutor meus (Ps 28:7)

Each one is the product of God's unconditional love. There is nothing created in this world outside of his knowledge and love. Hence, we all become children of God in this vast universe, under his divine will. When we don't realize fully this reality of interconnection, we create gap among ourselves and the rest of creation. Unnecessary breakage of relationships, indifference, violence in the world, undue political, social and geographical dispute, loss of dignity of a particular sect are examples. IN this situation whom can we run up-to or where can we get energy to move on? It is none other than the Lord who knows everything. We trust that in every situation, be it joyful or painful, he intends our good. Even through our daily trials and imperfections we are prepared for a better or holy life. So let's thank God in every situation and at every moment (by sr. Jessy Paul SSpS).

Iustitia vestra plus (Mt 5:20)

Jesus wants us to become better and better every day. Therefore, we should not look to others but rather set a good example for our sisters and brothers. Since our main focus is the Kingdom of heaven, all our actions must lead to this goal.
Furthermore, we eagerly want to meet God. And the easiest way to achieve this desire is to treat every person as a child of God. We ought to protect life from the moment of conception until death. It means talking to each other with love, finding good in every person and supporting one another.
Every prayer is a new chance to ask God for the blessings not only for ourselves but for all the needy. We are to remember that each person is very special. Accordingly, we ought to pay attention more for the people and less for the things.
As a community of believers we are called to live in harmony and peace. As one body of the Church we need the Holy Spirit in order to grow and progress in holiness. Overall, our life is a good occasion to sanctify ourselves.

Ego sum (Jn 14:6)

There are so many troubles and difficulties in our life. But Jesus always repeats: Do not let your hearts be troubled. Then he explains that God's Providence takes care of everything. As beloved children of God we are to believe and to have strong faith.
Obviously, there is a lot of tasks and obligations on the earth, but our home is in the heaven where our Father is waiting for us with his divine graces. For that reason, our main effort is to focus on the everlasting life in the Kingdom of God.
Jesus Christ wants to have us with him because in his presence we feel satisfied and abide in peace. With Jesus we find the right way to the true happiness. With his Holy Spirit we recognize the truth and follow it. Moreover, there is no life apart from the Son of God.
Let us always ask Jesus to be present in our soul, heart and mind. In such a way we will live the full life as Christians ought to live. Amen.

Filius hominis (Jn 3:13)

The beginning and the end of our life starts with the blow of the Holy Spirit. We hear the gentle sound which the Spirit makes in our heart. Although we sometimes do not know where it comes from or where it goes. We abide in the Holy Spirit all the time and exist thanks to the divine grace.
We are not able to understand how the Spirit works. But we can ask the Lord to help us accept everything what happens in our life. The Son of God teaches us and reveals the mystery through his Spirit.
When we read the Holy Bible, we find truth and learn the heavenly things as well as the earthly. However, we need to have strong faith and believe that everything which comes from God is true. Thus, Jesus Christ is always in the center of our life. The Son of Man is the Guide who made the journey before us. Therefore, he knows how to lead people from the earth to the heaven.  By his holy cross he saved us and offered us the eternal life in the kingdom of God.

Cum Deo meo (Is 49:4)

You need to hear the Lord and listen to his message carefully. Remember that he calls you everyday when you read the Holy Bible. The Lord reminds you that he takes care of you from the beginning of your life. Therefore, you should not worry but only trust in him.
The Lord knows you better than everyone else. In him you can find the source of your life. He gives you power and strength to fulfill your vocation. You are always in his hands and for that reason you can feel safe in every situation.
Your task is to act as his servant on the earth and to share his glory among the people. When you follow him and find out his holy will, everything you do is meaningful. Moreover, by the Holy Spirit the Lord makes your life joyful and fills your heart with gladness.
If you abide with the Lord, you become happy and peaceful. Although you experience difficulties, you shine with the divine light. For you follow the Lord and preach the Good News. Thus, the salvation reaches to the ends of the earth.

Via et veritas et vita (Jn 16:4)

Anyone who pursues a conscious journey to God has to take a definite path. For us Christians, the path and the destiny are the same, Jesus Christ the truth. One can be sure that this road although less travelled, brings the promise of fullness of life. But it’s not easy to walk on this path. It means thinking like him, acting like him and speaking like him even at the cost of losing our own lives. In a way it’s about taking his values and life principles to our hearts and putting them into loving actions to the benefit of others. This is where love of God and love of neighbour meet. This is the path that leads to true life and liberation. God knows our limitations, our tendency to side track and he is ever ready to take us back by hands and put us in the right track. We can always approach him in our difficulties, confusions like our brother and friend. He would always answer us in the best ways that suits us. Let us keep our hope alive to reach him and to be with him (sr. Jessy Paul SSpS).

Ego sum vitis (Jn 15:5)

Jesus uses a beautiful imagery from his surrounding to highlight the process of communion that is possible between He and a disciple and its outcome. The credit of the fruit bearing activity does not solely depend on branch alone but the vine. It is the vine that nourishes every branch and leaves through an inflow of life giving elements. A true disciple is to understand this fact that his/ her origin, existence and identity is in God. When we bear fruit - on the basis of the principles ‘love of God and neighbour’- we are in fact reflecting the nature of God.  Whether are aware or not the Holy Spirit resides in each of us and replenishes our soul. The call of the hour may be to awaken ourselves to this reality that God is active and alive in us.  ‘Walking in God consciousness’ at every moment and treasuring the word of God within will indeed find results in communion with God, neighbour, oneself and nature (by s. Jessy Paul SSpS).

Nobis confusio faciei (Dn 9:8)

The Lent is a proper time to strengthen our love towards God the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Although we fulfill God's commandments, we should also know why we do that. The first reason comes from our heart which wants to respond with love. However, it happens that we make mistakes and forget about our main vocation which is to love God and one another. So often we do evil and behave like people without love. Consequently, we do not listen to each other but try to reach our own goals in life. While we are not obedient, we do not hear the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, in this special period we should spend more time for prayer. We are to acknowledge our offenses and weaknesses. It is not important if we are near or far from the Lord. Since every situation and moment of life is good to come closer and feel his presence. Yes, all of us are shamefaced for having sinned against our God. But we cannot lose faith in the Lord whose name are compassion and forgiveness. We do regret our trespasses and egoism in our daily life. However, we promise to make the difference and pay heed to your commands, o merciful God.

In tentationibus variis (Jas 1:2)

You should discover your vocation and try to recognize the will of God. If you accept that you are a servant who needs to follow the example of Jesus Christ, you will be peaceful and happy. Even if troubles come, you will not give up. If you encounter difficulties, you will go through keeping faith. Although you fall down and commit sin, you will not stop looking for holiness.
Obviously, you could not be such a hero, without the divine grace. But with the gift of the Holy Spirit, you become perfect and complete. If you don't know what decision to make, ask for wisdom. If you are afraid, pray to God in order to grow stronger. If you lack joy, go to the church before the Holy Sacrament.
Since everything is possible for the one who trusts in the Lord. On the contrary, the person who doubts is often depressed and unhappy. The true Christian is stable in all ways and acts according to the conscience. Thus, they live a good life and receive the God's blessings. Moreover, the disciples of Christ help others to find God and to love him with the whole heart.

Spiritum immundum (Mk 7:25)

We learn from Jesus his attitude towards all the people. Even if he is tired or wants to be alone, he never rejects the needy. He knows very well the value of solitude and prayer but at the same time he cares and loves everyone. For that reason, when he sees someone in trouble, he tries to help this person.
People on the earth have many problems in various fields. They become sick in their soul and body. Moreover, the evil spirit tempts them so they commit sins. Sometimes they decline morally so low that they are not able to get up on their own. It happens that they cannot find consolation.
Therefore, Jesus Christ teaches us to spot the lowly and to answer with love. He encourages people to fall into the arms of God. He does not give the simple lessons but he is very strict and demanding.
In this way, Jesus helps the needy to express their main problem. While he notices that the person is humble, he makes the miracle. His words have the power to make demons escape. From Jesus' life we take a lesson of faith and love towards God the Father and towards every man and woman.

Propter arcam Dei (2 Sm 6:12)

Every encounter with the Lord gives joy into your heart. When you come closer to him, you feel his presence more and more. When you offer your time for him, you achieve peace and happiness. In his holy presence, you are at home.
So rejoice and praise the Lord as often as you can. Join the community of believers and sing the beautiful song of worship. Invite the Lord into your soul and prepare place for him.
Yes, he wants to stay with you all the time. Therefore, pitch the tent for the Lord and journey through life with him. Offer to the Lord everything you have and everything you are.
Do not be ashamed to love him more than others and show him your attachment. Thus, you will experience his blessing and will be able to share it with your sisters and brothers.
It is your vocation as the beloved disciple of your Master. The Lord chooses you to help your beloved ones. You are the one who can distribute the divine graces to the world. His Holy Spirit operates through your deeds and acts. Overall, you are the herald of the Good News and the Kingdom of God.

Filius hominis (Mk 2:10)

There are days when you come closer to Jesus and feel his presence in your soul. You may have plenty of work and many tasks to do, but you welcome the Son of God and spend time with him. He is in the centre of your life and his words are noticed by you.
You tell Jesus about everything and share all your troubles and problems. Although you are not sure how to start and feel embarrassed, you have the courage to open yourself because you trust him wholeheartedly.
While you are lost, fallen or depressed,  you look for Jesus and find consolation in his arms. When you make mistakes and commit sins, you let him embrace you with his love, mercy and compassion.
Jesus Christ always speaks to you with a loud voice: 'Child, do not be afraid! Your sins are forgiven. You are my beloved one'.
Other people may despise you but the Lord alone has the power to strengthen you. He gives you new hope and grants gift of the Holy Spirit. Consequently, you are able to rise, change your life and follow him.

In Spiritu Sancto (Jn 1:33)

Look at Jesus coming towards you in the New Year. Pay attention and focus on him in order to know what to do in every situation. See in Jesus the power of God which is the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ takes away your sins and has mercy on you. He is the only One who cares unselfishly and offers his life for you.
Jesus is stronger than everyone who fights against you. Jesus is greater than everything which overwhelms you.
This New Year, try to know Jesus more and feel his Love that flows from his divine Heart. Come closer to him in the holy sacraments and listen carefully to his voice through the Bible.
Ask for the Spirit of Jesus so you could behave like him and make the same decisions as he did. Fulfill the will of the Father who has created you and appointed for the tasks which you are to do. Open your soul and receive his blessing which you can share with your sisters and brothers. Make the difference in your life and change your attitude. In the Spirit of Jesus testify that all the children of God are called to walk in holiness.
