Pastores glorificantes et laudantes Deum (Lc 2:20)

After first vespers of the Solemnity of the Holy Mother of God we had the last mass in the old year 2011 for the Polish community. Then a party started with wishing each other: Happy New Year 2012. In the morning we said another mass for American people in the church of St. John. Everyone wanted to be nice and to say the best wishes for the comming new year. One person wished us - KEEP SMILING! I think this wish will come true, if we remember that Emmanuel is always giving us his holy peace (heb. SHALOM). The deacon Walter explained in his homily that a special God's blessing is receiving this divine peace in our daily life. The third mass in this world's day of peace was for Korean community. Each of us was praying, glorifying and thanking God that He allowed us to start this new year in peace, love and happiness.
