Ite et interrogate diligenter de puero (Mt 2:8).

Go and search dilligently for the child.

There are always good and bad circumstances in which we live. Usually on the one hand, there is something advantagous for us, but on the other there are difficulties and troubles. Nonetheless, Jesus Christ comes as a tiny child to such a world. And from the very beginning  there are dangers around his Holy Family. For instance, there is a terrifying envy of king Herod. But at the same time, there are gifts from the wise men. As human beings we do experience similar situations in our lives. And it depends on us where we turn our face. Obviously, there are problems we are to deal with, but also happiness, friendship and love. It is our choice what we will choose and share with each other. We can either follow the soldiers of the evil king or the stars which brighten our way. Moreover, we are able to choose life or death and be the servants of love or hatred. However, the little child shows us that true happiness can be achieved only by being humble. So we just need to stop for a while and contemplate the new born child with his Parents. Doing that we are to offer our best treasure which each of us has. It can be gold of virtue, frankincence of prayer or myrrh of our daily work...

De morte in vitam (1 Jn 3:13).

From death to life.

Love is the essence of our life and this virtue should always lead us. If not we harm others and even could kill them either with words or action. Just love changes our difficult lives into beautiful ones. For only love is stronger than death and is the best way to the eternal happiness. If we have true love, there is nothing impossible for us. Moreover, we are not afraid but walk through life being optimistic. On the other hand, living without love is like death. Furthermore, you cannot enter the heavenly kingdom, if you have not the key to its gate which is love. Living in love also means living with God himself. Since our Creator is the Beginning and Source of Love. By his grace we experience the divine love in our hearts and are being moved with compassion. Over all, our God is always greater than our human loves and gives us example to perfect our love. For that reason we are to ask him to increase our ability to be lovers and to accept love from beloved people around us.

Semen Dei in eo manet (1 Jn 3:9).

God's seed remains in him.

We are children of God. Consequently, there is more goodness than evil in us. However, we are often tempted by the Devil and follow his advice. Therefore, we commit sins and become unhappy. Nonetheless, the Son of God comes to us and destroys the works of the Devil. Moreover, he enriches us with divine graces in order to make us his beloved brothers and sisters. As a result, we give him thanks and start living a holy life again. But all the time we need his help to fight against sin. God's presence fills our hearts with joy and encourages us to do our best. Also we want Jesus to be our Lord and Master. For we believe that only he is able to rule the world with justice and equity. For that reason, we keep looking for him and try to find him in the holy sacraments. Moved by his words and works we are looking forward to the encounter with him. Sometimes just one word of Jesus can change everything in our life. Thus we know that following Christ is the best choice we could ever make. Since he is our strength, happiness and all we really need.
